At the offices of

2475 Hanover Street
Palo Alto, California 94304-1114
ACCO is inviting a select group of industry leaders to discuss formation of the organization, priorities and goals. From this group, ACCO will identify charter members, who, working with guidance from ACCO’s Advisory Board, will form the inner circle of the organization, discussing key issues to launching the organization, including:
- Establishing the structure and core mission of ACCO;
- Identifying the key organizational goals and tasks for ACCO (such as establishing a set of carbon reduction measurement tools, and developing a professional training and certification program); and
- Developing standards and benchmarks for climate change professionals.
Being early stage supporters
involved in the formation of ACCO will provide an
opportunity to shape the organization and to stake out a
position on the most important front in the debate on
climate change and energy: the individuals tasked with responding to emerging
climate change and energy policies and mandates.
Who Should Attend?
Executives and board members of publicly traded and large private corporations, institutions, non-profit groups and government, and consultants with expertise in climate and energy related disciplines.
Representatives from the
following corporations, institutions and organizations have already confirmed they will be in
attendance:
Applied Materials
Bayer Healthcare
The Brownfields Foundation
CB Richard Ellis
Silicon Valley Leadership Group
University of California, Berkeley
No financial commitment is necessary to attend the meeting. However, during the February 13 meeting, the final fees for charter and sponsor membership, as well as the payment schedule, will be set. For information on the financial model that will be proposed at the meeting, please click here.
